Carrie is based in our Sydney office, with a practice divided between Australia and New Zealand.
Carrie is regarded as one of the region's leading practitioners in forestry law. She has specific expertise in all legal aspects of forestry ownership, operations and forestry related issues, including:
- Acquisition and disposal of plantation forests.
- Wood supply contracts and other commercial contracts associated with forest ownership and management.
- Advising on issues impacting on the ownership of plantation forests, including the regulatory compliance issues for overseas investors in forestry.
Carrie's clients include superannuation and endowment funds, investment/ asset managers and the US based timber investment management organisations or TIMOs.
