Brisbane construction team builds strength with new partner appointment
DLA Phillips Fox continues to build strength on the ground in Queensland with the announcement of a new addition to the partner ranks of the Brisbane Construction team.
The firm is pleased to announce that Roger Quick joined the firm on 15 October. Roger was formerly a partner at Gadens. Roger is highly regarded for his experience in the procurement and management of construction and legal services in major projects in infrastructure and resources.
He is a co-author of the leading text on the procurement and management of legal services, Quick on Costs and brings to the team extensive experience in the emerging area of relational contracting by means of Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) and alliancing.
‘DLA Phillips Fox impresses me as a firm that shares my commitment to client success in construction and it has the ability to deliver that commitment nationally and globally,' said Roger of the move to the firm.
‘The practice has some of the foremost alliancing practitioners in the country; with an understanding of the alchemy of successful construction projects, and I’m very pleased to now be a part of DLA Phillips Fox,’ he said.
In the past month, the DLA Phillips Fox Brisbane construction team has also welcomed Jonathan Usher (Senior Associate), Ruth Hatten (Solicitor) and Harley Deane-Johns (Solicitor).
